You know the real Law. ;)
It's as easy as, well, 1... 2... 3... Or... *
123DO WHAT THOU WILTThat is to say, it adds up to 123!
(23 + 10 + 8 + 3 + 5 + 9 + 9 + 3 + 10 + 25 + 8 + 0 + 1 + 9)
*in Arabic numerals. How did those get into your Bible? Quoting: AkashicRecord THANK YOU my dear brother. Someone I have learned to trust and communicate with in many ways. ; )
Let us not forget the next part,
Love is the Law,
Love under Will.
How that is seen as something bad or evil I do not understand. To control your own will in the name of love? To be able to
control your self without someone else saying yes or no to whatever it is you want to do.
The guy messed up in his life. We all make mistakes. His teachings at heart are beautiful loving poetry and songs to the divine. Some of the best poets, painters, writers have had very "wicked" lives. Does that make the beauty of their work any less beautiful?
He also left a plethora of information on natural healing and other good works.
We all fall and get back up.
The one thing I have drilled into my child's head every time she said "You made me feel this way. You made me do this." (people often do blame others for their own behavior) I would say "NO, you did that. YOU made a choice to do whatever or feel whatever you are feeling. You are the only one who can CONTROL YOU. Only you are responsible for what you do. Not me, not dad, not God, not anyone that says they are your superiors. NO ONE BUT YOU."
She leaves for college very soon. Ready to go understanding that she is responsible for every action she takes. That every action has an effect on every thing else. That one bad choice can cause a ripple effect that lasts a long time.
It is much easier to blame someone else for what you did or what you feel that to take responsibility for yourself and control yourself.
Even easier to pass judgement on others. We all do it. The very act of a battle is passing judgement against the other side.
Quoting: NolaRising Absolutely. Though the essence of that statement is not to just go around doing whatever the fuck you want either, though many people often interpret it that way and end up deceiving themselves in the process.
Utmost personal responsibility with regard to the Law itself is absolutely required, that is to say, that one cannot violate the same
necessity for others to "do what thou wilt."
This is an incredibly ..bad.. exposition of that statement, but there is at least a modicum of truth to it...
One could also think of it this way:
If you were imprisoned in a cell, but were provided the key to release yourself, would you? What if the precondition of your release from imprisonment simply meant that you must give that same key to others, with the chance that they could release themselves, provided the same precondition? Would you?
"The absolute rule of the State shall be a function of the absolute liberty of each individual will."But yes, "love is the law, love under will," indeed, but it isn't just as simple as that, either.
"Nor let the fools mistake love, for there are love and love. There is the dove and there is the serpent. Choose ye well! He, my prophet, hath chosen knowing the law of the fortress, and the great mystery of the House of God."Three Ordeals in One... ;)

(This is all off the cuff, so if I mistyped anything...well, I guess I'll take my licks for fucking it up.)
