Is The Internet An Attempt At Thwarting The Evolution Of Collective Consciousness?
Thread title says it all.
Been wondering about this the last few days. Everything in the universe seems to have an opposite. And even in most religions there is a creator and then some being who jealously tries to immitate the creator. I dont really want to make this a religion tard thread but, for lack of a better example as im falling asleep on my couch... as much as it may seem to benefit our lives, is the internet Satan's or evil's way of trying to derail our creator's plan for all people to become syncronized, in harmony and as one? Kind of like, "why try to achieve collective consciousness with my fellow species when i can add anyone I want to my Facebook list of friends?" Im tired, and this was making a lot more sense in my head before i started typing hahaha
What do you all think? Hopefully someone can give some insight that i can read in the morning when inwake up! Goodnight!

Interesting point.

We shall see how things develop when the power finally goes out, but I think you might be on to something with that way of thinking.

If anything the Internet is a step closer to collective conciousness, doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

The collective consciousness already exists. The internet may well be interfering with the development of natural abilities to access it.

Most likely not, but it's a possibility.

Please, take your thoughtless attitude and leave the discussion.

Thwart? More like bringing it closer. Through the technology of the internet individuals have been exposed to the thoughts, feelings, perspectives of a multitude of peoples from not only their own lives or countries, but from cultures and regions around the world. The internet is serving to increase the individual's awareness of the whole (collective).

It is all about balance...

The internet is a tool. You can think of collective consciousness as a network as well, one that always existed.

The invention of the internet gave a new way for modern humans in this time period to connect to the collective consciousness. It is not the only way and does allow for control.

I feel it would be different if we had no electricity.

All we really need to do is step outside the box and look. Try to connect. You might be shocked with the messages you get back.

I've been with the internet for 20 years already and I can say that sometimes It feels odd, like if something doesn't match up with my nature form.

Heck If you have me choosing the internet 20 years ago or just going natural free of technology, I would choose the latest, sometimes is good not to know too much.

It's too late now, we are here and we need to be aware of it.
