I compiled the raw images AGAIN obeying the file's names order and overlayed the final result onto the "comb" image with the V-shaped object, center of the controversy. After doing this I agree that it might be streaks of overexposure along the path, or whatever you wanna call it. This video still easier to understand the parallax explanation, than all the other videos made by Astro. I had to do that in respect to everybody aboard this thread, less the rude immature douchebags who can't keep up without 5th grade insults. That said, I serious need a drink! Astro says the winged formation is just a "streak of light" from background objects, but HOW COME it doesn't fade away along with the comet's coma after the image is darkened??? That image seems to be a classic example of NASA airbrushing an object to hide something. It's a tough galaxy. If you want to survive, you've gotta know...where your towel is. |

I agree...NASA is trying to hide this...They are doing this for a reason...And it is NOT for the benefit of the common man/woman "Streaks of light" as said by Astro, would totally vanish along with the comet's coma, after the image was darkened. That's no streak of light, that's something aligned in formation with what is supposed to be the comet's nucleus. Quoting: El Tiburon I cannot get anything that even remotely resembles what your last image shows. Now lets look at the last image to see how Chopped it is... I guess is because the Hubble image viewer works with multiple-layer images, so that when you "darken" or "lighten" something, you are actually bypassing other layers, not altering them.
