At 7:00 PM on August 19, we started collecting water in the tank dike. Water was pumped up with a temporary pump to a temporary tank, and absorbent was placed inside the dike. Water collected until around 11:00 PM on the same day is approx. 4 m3. So we know its leaking like all hell and are rightly concerned as radiation is a scary word, but if we put the fear aside for a second and talk facts not fear, do we know useful information like what types are leaking, what each ones absorption rate/percentage through ingestion, skin, breathing etc are. What rate if any they are naturally shed through the body at, What rate each is naturally occurring and other useful things like that. Not to try to downgrade your work as i/we all appreciate your continued time and effort on this subject. The figures you post don't seem to shed much light to a laymen in regards to the potential effects, i think we are all just getting that its leaking like crazy and are scared because of the word radiation. |
