I don't like the government involvement either, and we certainly don't need anymore legislation. I am left wondering though, who will stop all this? People have just lost all their marbles, so if there isn't a law/regulation to stop crap like that, how do we contain the madness? we don't the only solution is to be EMPed back to the stone age and start over IMO Maybe we do need a scrub and reset.. |

If you hold any type of public office or are running for public office, you are hereby illegal and will face incarceration. It's now time to take back OUR country. It's not their's, it's ours and we should start acting like it! |

The ones that have cracks an are lifting up off the skin bed of your toe. Some even look all filled with Pus. EWWWWWW That is the most disturbing, disgusting thing I have ever seen. They need to make it a law if you have those toenails you MUST always wear CLOSED toe shoes. Going barefoot with such offending feet should illicit jail time. lol Good Grief What's next? Quoting: N3m3s1s Congrats Arkansas residents. You will now be limited to doing this at home where you are assured a nice infection if you don't follow proper sterilization procedures. In the state that's number 2 for the number of inbreds, what could go wrong? “If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can smile and blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, our entire society, will benefit from our peace.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace "But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you." - Job 12:7,8 "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." - Hunter S. ming User ID: 1680219 Sweden 08/20/2013 03:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is not something that is not geared toward "normal" tattoos and piercings. This is geared toward people who tattoo horrific things on their faces, and have implanted hooks in their skin, horns in their heads, whiskers in their cheeks, (i.e the guy who has cheetah spots tattooed all over, including his face, and had whiskers implanted).. Quoting: iamlizzyb Yes, it is borderline encroaching, but people who do this are mentally unstable, and yes, it sets a bad example for children and society. Oh, and before I am labeled some anti-everything/pro gov. person, I'm not! I have piercings and tattoos. Who cares if they are 'crazy'? As long as they are not hurting anyone else, what's the problem? And as for setting a 'bad example' for children, LOL! have you been to a Walmart lately?! Scary people at Walmart are traumatizing, I agree. However, seeing people with the over the top horns, complete facial tats, and extreme things of that nature is what I was referring too. Please, I mean no disrespect, but the whole "I'm not hurting anyone else," excuse is ridiculous, and overplayed. If they are mutilating their body, it needs to stop. If I were to chop off my hand, because I thought it was cool, then I would be committed, but if I mutilate my face, and have horns implanted, and have hooks sewn in my back to hang from, its no problem?? That's like lobbying for suicide. Has humanity lost all sense of pride, self-respect, morality, decency, values, and dignity? Body modification is an ancient practice, only the methods have changed due to technological advances. I fail to see how it's anybody's business what a person chooses to do within their own skin. Where does it end? There are myriad rules that deal with how you affect those around you, but now people want to take it further and impose rules on how you affect yourself. It's totally unacceptable. Some body modifications may strike me as ugly, and I may not understand why they would do it, but that's up to them. The body is merely a shell, we'll all look the same when we're rotting in the earth, so what if they want to make theirs more interesting. Out of this ugliness may come, Some day, so beautiful a flower, That men will wonder at that hour, Remembering smoke and flowerless slum, And ask-glimpsing the agony Of the slaves who wrestle to be free- 'But why were all the poets dumb?' -William Montgomerie So many gods, so many creeds, So many paths that wind and wind, While just the art of being kind Is all the sad world needs. -Ella Wheeler Wilcox |

Quoting: Person445 The bill's sponsor, Senator Missy Irvin of Mountain View, wants to limit body art procedures, particularly scarification and dermal implants. Con't @ [link to www.fox16.com] God i hate social conservatives. Take your bullshit need to stuff your morals down everyones throat and cram it up your own ass. That idiot congresswoman doesn't know a damn thing about the BM industry and has no business trying to regulate it with more useless laws that are a complete waste of tax payer money. Why do Americans allow for so many laws to be made by social conservative shitheads? Why do social conservative assholes have so many issues with trying to make others live by their personal moral code??!?! |

Lime Flavoured Redux User ID: 45374986 United Kingdom 08/20/2013 03:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That is a state law for Arkansas. I would be pissed if I lived there but each state has the right to determine their own laws (even if it is very infringing). I live in North Carolina where we passed some laws that are under the national spotlight as well. Quoting: KimmieAnnaJones Does this mean - if passed, that new state residents or tourists with "illegal tats" would be in violation? Where does it end, and what's the purpose anyway? My guess is it would only apply to new tattoos / whatever. I also doubt this law would survive a legal challenge anywhere anyway. |

So how are they going to divide between normal but kind of extreme and abnormal and really extreme? What kind of legalese are they going to use to do that?
