Although I don't believe your theory that atom bombs are a hoax, I do wonder how long after an atom bomb is made that it stops working. Because the bomb material is radioactive, some part of that bomb is constantly changing into other material. That means there's two reasons why it won't work after a period of time - 1) if the uranium degrades to lead, well, lead doesn't explode. I don't know what plutonium degrades into, but I am sure it won't explode the way plutonium explodes. And, 2) if the atom it degrades into is bigger than the original atom, well, that's going to make the bomb material crack and split open - especially if gasses are formed. That can't be good for the bomb. My guess is three years - after three years they lose potential to go boom.
