Note:
Back in the 70's the U.S. Department of Energy placed a limit of 50 RADs per Year as the maximum total whole body count dosage. Nuclear research employees were allowed in one year.

Any more than 50 RAD per year exposure was not allowed.

Note:
People living in the U.S.A. worried about this high of a dosage from the Japan incident(s) have nothing directly, to worry about.
