It's clearly Obama's handlers trying to make everything as complicated and as inefficient as possible. I can see nothing good resulting from Obama-care for the ordinary Americans.

I can see a few already extremely wealthy individuals (acting in concert as a tribe) who will become immensely richer.

This is not in the same league, but I'll draw a comparison with something in my neck of the woods which irritates me if I care to think about it:-

Once upon a time our refuse service was great. We all knew that burnable stuff was put out for collection on Mondays and Thursdays and that burnable stuff was out on Wednesdays.

We could use any bag and they even took boxes.

Things like car batteries and similarly hazardous stuff was down to the individuals to dispose of and it cost little bit if you couldn't take it yourself to the place where they stored dangerous rubbish.

Once a month there'd be a day for throwing out large burnable items, and the next month there'd be a day you could put out the large non-burnable stuff - like microwaves and washing machines.

The service was pretty cheap, and the workers were reasonable.

Then it all changed. We had to put stuff in special bags that could only be bought. One colour for burnable and another for non-burnable.

Then they stopped the monthly large-rubbish day and started making us pay for collection based on what it was - and the cost of throwing an old washing machine away was what food would cost a frugal family for a week.

etc-etc. Things got more and more complex and people didn't know why so many bags were being refused and having a sticker on them saying they wouldn't take the bag because what was in it didn't follow the new rules. They never explained what was wrong though. The collection crrews suddenly became experts on what constituted burnable and what didn't, and if there was a piece they thought had come from a domestic appliance then they'd refuse it because their rules said they weren't to pick up domestic appliances because disposal of those items was big money for them.

All along the restricted items' list got longer, and then the halved the size of the bags and tripled the cost.

So a lot of people started dumping their stuff in the mountains - so the council was down to buying a fleet of expensive 4WD vehicles with a new staff and department to patrol the mountains and pay for millions of bright yellow placards on every corner and on every pole in the countryside. They never caught anyone, and this year they have a fleet of even more expensive cars than they had last time and they weren't more than three years old when they decided to get new ones.

The local council, the electrical shops and the private rubbish collection company are all in cahoots to rip off the ordinary citizen. The law does not forbid you taking your old appliances to the council dump, but they'll insist it is illegal and we must take such stuff to electrical shops so they charge us for their disposal.

There is a 'recycling' law, which in truth is voluntary, but we are forced to pay. I even phoned Tokyo government to get the truth of the matter and even though I know the law, the refuse teams won't take stuff which they are obliged to according to the rules and the laws set down.

So a small few are getting rich out of ripping off the people, and even though what they are doing is clearly against the law, the law doesn't matter to them.

And now I'm getting choked with the refuse collection company being paid to burn Fukushima's radioactive trash, but I can't even burn some old leaves in the back garden.

If we citizens did not have our hard earned wages stolen from us via taxation all but very few would have no trouble paying for health care.
