It will be next on the government's list as soon as there are enough users. Probably already in the works for a roll out plan.

Even if so, you could just take it out of the source code and recompile. Not viable for most people. Or, viable only until the next (auto)update. mine's always turned off, for all software. Most users out there, though? China is developing their own internet... overtly. Russia and other nations... (semi)covertly. That will be the only escape, because once TPTB feel threatened enough, the Internet Kill Switch will go in efect. I've got my eye on all fences; which ones I can scale/jump over in case of TSHTF. Perhaps you too. What about most everyday folks out there?
