Appears the mass of land the tress are embedded in broke away and just dropped straight down.If the tress were falling away they would likely have fell sideways.The trees hardly moved at all and stayed upright as they sank.Very odd really.

I showed this to my family yesterday after I explained to them this is the same sink hole I showed them over a year ago....my 12 year old son said "whoa that's pretty deep, look the trees just fell straight down and look at the water displacement" With all the daily doom I would rank this #2 behind Fuku. Only because of the absolute unknown that appears to be happening at both sites.
