"I'm afraid to go over to him 'cause he's a stranger"...The sad last minutes of Chris Lane's life

as he laid in a ditch with a gunshot wound to the back, slowly dying. A local women was on the phone to 911 explaining she found him lying in a ditch, and she didn't know what was wrong with him, except he had blood on his back. He told her he'd been shot, he'd heard the shot ring out, and could identify the car it came from. The woman explains to the 911 operator who asks her to speak with Lane that she's afraid because he's a stranger.

Small town Oklahoma. Friendly my ass. I was born and raised in a big city, and I can assure you that would not have happened there; everybody within earshot would have come out to help, and people would not have been afraid to help a stranger.
