I just have to announce that my dog has been on human food for 3 days now. She is ALIVE! My goodness. It is a miracle. After reading the dog food recall threads, I decided to share my food with her.
Also, I made up a huge batch of real beef, kind of like you would make a meatloaf and with some carrots and stuff in it. I then put it in my food processor to make it better chewing for her. She is a little older, was a rescue and missing some toofies. I also froze some in baggie for future eating.
She is much more alert and happier. Before she was lethargic and just wanted to laze around and sleep. She is so MUCH DIFFERENT NOW.

I used to cook meat, rice and veggies for my poodle but it was very time consuming. He was doing very poorly on kibble as a puppy and was severely underweight, so the vet suggested it was our only alternative to cook for him. He went on to be of normal weight. :))) I'm really glad your dog is healthier.
