The Germans were bankrolled by some heavy hitters in the States because of their presumed opposition to communism (and probably sympathy for fascist ideals as well.) there was also undoubtedly pure profit lust given the money to be made in the military industrial complex what would emerge and never go away. |

"Understanding the F word: American Fascism and the Politics of Illusion" Great first two-thirds ESPECIALLY his thumbnail sketches of the US presidents - for example did you know Gerald R Ford, Jr. was born Leslie Lynch King and changed his name in College? The last third is off topic (history of psychology) but the first two thirds were engaging and a quick read. |
