Re: Internet Trouble: Messing Up The Infrastructure
Somebody is flooding the BGP Routing tables with fake entries.
This is an attack on the very core of the structure of the internet.
Going on for weeks. Seems to culminate in real chaos now.

Re: Internet Trouble: Messing Up The Infrastructure
I resonate with the cyberwar comment... The question is: Who is waging it?

Government against government? Hackers/Anonymous versus NSA?

Something tells me that counter-NSA technology is at play here after many governments likely figured out how to disrupt the data-collecting systems...

We are seemingly still in the "we show you what we can do" phase.
Requests for Amazon, eBay etc. ending up in a black hole.

Yesterdays Nasdaq glitch was something on a new scale.
They seem to have manipulated the data stream on its way.
Get ready for anything now, believe none of what you see.

Does it really matter what name these entities carry?
It surely needs concerted command and control.
I'd bet against any amateur group.
