They folded it up into something the size of a Rubiks Cube and put it in their pocket.

It folded up and was attached to the outside along with most of the rest of the equipment. There is video of the rover being deployed.

The name is Weidner.

Mr. Weidner believes a lot of weird things.
And, like all hoax proponents, when it comes to Apollo he hasn't got a clue.

In my experience it is only those who know little about Apollo; its history, its politics, its science, its engineering, etc., who believe such nonsense.

"Secret codes" in Hollywood films is not evidence, it's apophenia.

There was en entire series on the History Channel about this...and the entire gear up to getting to the moon.

They went into detail about the design and engineering of the rover.
GM built it.

I forgot the name of the series .... but it was really interesting. They went into details with a lot of the systems.

Kubrick got his hands on some premo camera equipment to make 2001, Shinging, etc., with its cinematogrphic qualities that blew out anything in its time and even now, 30 years later.

Have to ask yourself, how'd he get his hands such equipment?

Re: Moon landing question..
Take this for what it's worth. Don't ask questions because I won't answer them.

Quickly, I have worked heavily in the Aerospace industry since 1989. I have had the pleasure to work with and speak with some truly awesome and wonderful people. The moon landings come up now and then. A lot more in the 90's then today.

Did we go to the moon and actually step foot on it? Yes but only twice and not by the teams you are told. Those two teams never made it back. I threw the bullshit flag when I was told this one until it was explained to me at fundamental level.
I think it was that moment that I began to understand the meaning of critical thinking.

Is the moon landing footage real? Some yes, most no.
Most the footage was produced Hollywood style to convey scientific data at a means that the general American/World public could/would understand to rally support.

I got the chance to hear another conversation late 90's. After listening for a few minutes I made the statement: I can't wait until someone goes back to the moon. The oldest of the bunch just look at me and said no one will, it's not safe. That statement ended the gathering.

Interestingly, I've heard the reason NASA has not been back is due to the fact, they don't have the tech for the team to reach the moon and return.

More than that...NASA were advisors on 2001. Production of 2001 coincided perfectly with build up to Apollo moon mission. Both were prepped simultaneously.

The camera equipment. And it was the first time "blue screen"/or "green screen" was employed at such a large scale.

this is why American government never made the moon landing a national holiday or a date to remember. Can't impose bullshit on the people but you can make an attempt make some believe.
