Aloha means "hello," and also "goodbye." It's in how you inflect. Put the bark in the dog and you've got a "guardian."
Quoting: Kai (VALIS) I'm usually a lurker here at GLP, I speak up every once in awhile (usually concerning music & symbolism). I always enjoy your posts and your insight Kai. The PAVEMENT reference brought me out of the woodwork. Well done, friend. All hail the SM Jenkins.
Don't let the bastards get you down. Time to keep writing, eh?
I think "The other side's" presentation last night was rather lame, tho I felt a strange tingle of sympathy for Gaga during her performance. I'm interested in the geographical location they chose. I'm also interested in ignoring their parties altogether, and starting my own.
Here's one for ya:
"You wanted a hit, but maybe we don't do hits. We won't be yr babies anymore, till you take us home". -Sir James Murphy of the LCD
Not all of us can be GAP ad whores! (hehehe)
Ok, one more. "I might stick around or I might be a fad, but I won't sell my song for no TV AD"- Adam Yauch, MCA passed through on 5/4/12. hmmm...
Love,
