See, erm, I found this lady on facebook who I have liked for sometime. She used to be my employment adviser, until I got a job. I felt quite certain that she liked me at the time, but probably found it inappropriate to say so because of her job. She was such a nice gal, that I decided to see if she was on FB -- many months later. She is on there, but her profile is pretty much rivate, so I can't tell if she's single or not. The thing is, I think it seems a little fucked up just friend requesting her under my actual profile name, so wondered if I should contact her under a pseudonym to find out if she's single or not. Is that 'I know what you did last summer material'? How would you react to a guy contacting you under a fake FB account?

Quoting: Dace I know, man, and I don't actually have a problem asking a lady out under appropriate circumstances, but a few months have passed since I saw her, and contacting on FB -- whether you contact as yourself or not, still comes off as creepy. I just had such great rapport with this lady, but I guess I'll just have to let it go.
