All footage was stolen after the Hiroshima blast and the US totally controlled the country to about 1952. U.S. occupation authorities, who would run Japan for the next 61/2 years, seized the film of some 30 Japanese newsreel photographers who had arrived some days after the bombing to record the destruction. Read more: [ link to www.time.com] The population around 1910 was 143,000. Before World War II, Hiroshima's population had grown to 360,000, and peaked at 419,182 in 1942. Following the atomic bombing in 1945, the population dropped to 137,197. By 1955, the city's population had returned to pre-war levels. Why did they steal all the film footage? I can truly say, after all I have seen in this life: I don't doubt it for a second. Our entire lives are pixilated manipulations. If "they" say they dropped a nuke; I now know no nuke was dropped. If "they" say 11 million people were exterminated in WW2; I now know it was nowhere near that number. If "they" say Syria used chemical weapons; I now know it was either "they" or the whole thing is fabricated. I don't know why this is so shocking to people. These are the same people that told us vaccines get rid of diseases and derivatives propel an economy. 5 stars and pin request for the simple fact that you are presenting us with something *reasonable* and fitting for this website.
