In WH view: a failure to respond to the use of chemical weapons on a significant scale would be a threat to US national security. ********Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please******* |

Oil prices on the rise!! “We have strategic weapons and we’re capable of responding,” he said. “Normally the strategic weapons are aimed at Israel.” Muftah concluded with a warning that “If the US or Israel make the mistake of taking advantage of the chemical issue… the region will go up in flames… that will affect security not only in the region but across the world.” His words were echoed by Iranian officials, who on Monday shrugged off the threat of a US attack on its close ally Syria, but said that if such a strike were to take place, Israel would suffer. “[The Americans] are incapable of starting a new war in the region, because of their lacking economic capabilities and their lack of morale,” said Mohammad Reza Naqdi, the commander of the Republican Guards’ elite Basij force. Oil prices on the rise!! One thing our govt clearly is not considering is the fact that Assad is not Saddam or Quaddafi. He is not crazy, he is a well educated, cold , calculating person. Quoting: Lady Jane Smith He is far more dangerous that the other "el-presidente" types we have gone against. Ever heard Assad give a crazed rant like the others" No. he will hold his cards close & execute his plans like a chess master. This is going to be very bad on so many levels. Bad for who? If berry goes in and starts a war(it's probably underway as we type) he is on his OWN. The bastard dictator has circumvented congress to wage another illegal war, HOPEFULLY there will be a GLOBAL outcry for the removal and ARREST of the war criminal berry hussein. Because the United States Congress and a large majority of her constituents did not APPROVE of this war. BERRY DID THIS, AFTER GASSING SYRIANS AND THEN BLAMING ASSAD. Bad for people in the ME AND very bad for Americans. This asshole will not stop until he creates a devastating war that will take our country to its knees & it will take decades (if ever) for us to recover. Oil prices on the rise!! Do you guys think we will ACTUALLY GO TO WAR with Syria? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13376778 If so, WHEN? Judging by Kerry's speach yesterday, its a apanking...not a war. Assad will not quietly bend over a knee & accept a spanking. he has his own credibility & respect as a national leader to consider. Lots of players getting involved and I'm not sure of the end game. His regime will take a heavy hit and US backed rebel terrorists could swoop in for the final kill. ********Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please******* |

Putin would have to be making a substantial offer for Assad to humble himself that way. Assad must maintain the respect of his leadership & loyal followers. I am not saying he will not get spanked, I am saying to expect him to fight back. Fate whispers to the warrior "You cannot withstand the storm" the warrior whispers back "I am the storm" INTJ-A |

Oil prices on the rise!! Liberman said that the US upholding its "red lines" on the use of chemical weapons by Assad tests "both the personal credibility of Obama and of the entire US government." Quoting: Gypsy Priest The former foreign minister said that the United States' position as the world's leading super power and Washington's ability to influence world events would be judged by whether or not it strikes Syria. Liberman said that, while Israel has no interest in becoming involved in Syria's civil war, a possible strike by the US and its allies against Assad could potentially "drag" Israel into the conflict. [link to www.jpost.com] Drag Israel into the conflict?!? Hell, they are part of the conflict. Liberman is a devil. Israel pulls the strings on our government, and we all know it. Basically he is saying "Obama: Israel says you must attack or else you are finished." Obama knows the deal. He will bow the knee to his Zionist masters. He is just trying to figure out a way to make this attack look courageous, humanitarian, the right thing to do, etc. and not the apartheid, war mongering state of Israel that is calling the shots. Now that Ketchup John's speech fell flat, he is going to have to bring out the big guns... My guess: False flag on a US Ship (similar to the Cole) blamed on Assad. The chemical weapons thing is unraveling, WND, Drudge, and the rest are reporting it was the rebels that used chemicals and we are not buying Kerry's story...they MUST up the ante. An attack on a US Navy ship would do it... Now that the plan has been exposed it will be pretty obvious if we essentially start this war. I see a face saving move where Obummer attacks a few meaningless targets provided to him by Assad. This allows time for a plan b to be implemented. |

Obama the clown spends his time campaigning, vacationing, and going on stupid shows like the view. He's done nothing but damage to OUR country since he was installed as the American puppet prez. The reason the rodeo clown was so reviled is that he showed that the real Obama is nothing but an ASS clown, though incompetent to do the job of a rodeo clown. |
