Internal reflection, of monitors / lights etc.

That's an external robotic camera. Try again!

The camera is external and robotic yes. But right behind it is an ISS window with monitors and lights and shit.

it's in the same angle as the rest of the structure. My guess would be something attach to ISS a bit farther as simple as that.
 Quoting: Korats01

"Rest of the structure..."

1/3 of a single module is visible on camera and you think you have the angle of inclination of the whole 191 ft long ISS??

And considering that you have no clue of WHICH module is that, is IMPOSSIBLE to even GUESS its angle of inclination.

[link to q08i.img-up.net]

Not to mention that clearly there's NOTHING attaching that thing to the station.

Fail simple as that.

It is obvious they take downthe cameras when something is able to be seen...

why take them down with such regularity? Because there is always something to be seen, thats why....

It is perfectly parallel to the hull. Without any movement I would assume that it is a reflection of the very bright light against the station. In that video near the end when the camera comes back on and the ghost image is gone, notice too that the light being refected off the station is less and no longer washes out the image.

Recorded from the ISS streaming in Aug. 27 between 05h15m42s and 05h35m24s UTC. They are having issues with all the onboard cams all the morning and I heard the guys at NASA control room complaining on why the astronauts cut all the cameras early today. Not by coincidence the cams went down after this was filmed:

The link below works fine with VLC:

Still am not sure we're seeing anything remarkable here. Could easily be a module of some kind.

So you "bright light reflection against the module's hull" creates a distinct image of a cigar-shaped object with sequential leds, instead of the average flare usually seen in space videos??

That's what sunlight reflecting in the ISS looks like:

Hmmm... nope, no cigar-shaped image produced!

It seems to be curved and parallel to the earth horizon so I would lean to it being some sort of reflection. Maybe Cali wild fires.

Hey, I'm no photography expert. Just gave you my first impression that's all. The bright light being reflected from the station could create a mirror image in a lense at the right angle right? I'm just saying it looks more like a reflection than a mothership to me, that's all.

Dude wtf r u talking about?? What mirror image? What lense??

The only case a reflection would be plausible was if the camera was inside the module, behind some window like the cupola for instance, but that's an external robotic camera.

If you are referring to a flare, I embedded a couple of videos before showing what lens flare caused by sunlight look like in space.
