I am from Louisiana. I left Baton Rouge in 2003, after my son failed third grade in one of the better schools in the city. I was told by the teachers that my son's epilepsy gave him issues learning. He has had four grand mal seizures in his entire life. None of them ever occured while attending this school, but it was part of his permanent record. He is now twenty one, and his last seizure occured in fourth grade here in Texas.

I promptly left BR ( the city at the root of this lawsuit) and moved to Dallas Fort Worth. My son who was incapable of learning, went on to get honor roll, become a world scholars cup and Acadec participant. He is now at UT, where he is a member of the Honor society.

You are correct. Black children are reaping the benefits of these vouchers, not white kids stuck in severly underperforming schools. So in short, Obama is hurting his own race.

and to the poster above.. YES the white kids are the minorities who are being held back. Look at my son's example.
