...

I'd just rather not, I'm actually a fan of the work of both bands down the years, and would rather avoid the thread devolving / derailing into the specific merits / demerits of the bands in question. I know there are a lot of haters on here of one of the bands in question and the thread will probably just go the wrong way.

I'm kinda looking at this from the angle that some of the artists who are associated with this shit haven't necessarily made any pacts or aren't quite aware of how much they might have been manipulated. With my eyes open to all this over this last few years I'm seeing things that I never saw before in years gone by. I wonder how many bands down the years didn't know the extent of this shit either?

Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin? That's my guess as to who you may be hinting at...even though the late 80's weren't their heyday...they were still on MTV a lot....or maybe Def Leppard? Hmmmm?

Already mentioned not from England.

so don't listen to satanic music

listen to music that gives you clues on escaping the bull and becoming free (mind)

like Linkin Park
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36505624

Oh I agree, but you it kinda misses the point of my OP though.

Really talking about music that isn't overtly satanic, or music that I (and the masses I would say) don't perceive as satanic in any way shape or form. And not really talking about the more obvious stuff from recent years either. Talking about it more from a marketing aspect as well, stuff that some artists have no control over, and most artists have limited control over.

All this shit is a real eye-opener (LOL pun intended ;-))

OP what are the names?

Guns 'N Roses???

Come on you can just say it... There's plenty of threads speculating about various groups... Have you read the thread about how ABBA is a pop group of demonic witches???

Born from the tail-end of the punk era late 70's. Both from this side of the pond. One a band from the United Kingdom (i.e. not England ;-)), and one from a country near United Kingdom that some of you guys often think is the United Kingdom. The most obvious one is probably still the biggest band on the planet for a good 25 years now, the other one was pretty big in the mid to late 80's on a global level. Both bands still going. I've said too much lol.

Dammit! I always knew something was up with the Bay City Rollers and the Fun Boy Three.

Now I can't listen to music or go to walk-in medical clinics because of all evil and demons bouncing about.

Iron Maiden are English. The second band is from the United Kingdom, there is a subtle difference, but I don't imagine everyone appreciates that.

Both bands have already been named in the thread. It's kinda turned in to a guessing game which I hadn't anticipated.

It was less about the specifics of who the bands are, but more about the specific nature of those bands and how far removed they are from what we usually associate with this satanic illuminati bullshit, which makes me think that whilst fuckwits like Kanye sign up to this shit, and maybe Dylan and others in days gone by, there are others in years gone by who never signed up to it, were never aware of it, and have been totally manipulated by their record companies.

I bet I could spend a day going through 1980's / 1990's music videos and find all kinds of shit by all kinds of artists that we never used to see before this became as apparant as it is these days.

It's pretty damn obvious if you know what to look for.

These weird hand signs and performances.

A lot of people dismiss it by saying 'oh, that's just BS, because I don't believe in it'. Which is stupid.

I don't believe this BS either, but they (the 'celebrities') do. And they are shoving some sort of symbolism in my face and I don't like that. So I really want to know as much as possible about this.

You can see it everywhere in the media.

Not to be a dick, but seriously, if you didn't want it to be a guessing game you would have just said who they were and then people could go research for themselves.

I personally don't buy into ALL the hand-sign stuff I have to say. Though some of them are no doubt clear-cut cases of satanists.

At least one of the devil horn hand-sign pictures I have seen in times gone by I know for a fact has been doctored from it's original photograph.

Plus, some are just when the fingers and hand happens to be moving and the picture is captured at that precise opportune moment.

But like I say I don't doubt that some are exactly what they appear to be, especially with the current crop of fuckwit wannabe's. Same goes for the 666 sign.

Yeah maybe, hadn't quite thought it was going to go in this direction. For various reasons I don't particularly want to go in to, I'd rather not be explicit about exactly who they are. You've done that for yourselves anyway. Like I say it's not really about who they are, it's about the nature of the bands in question and how far-reaching this bullshit might actually go.

No matter as you said. I think it's good you are looking into the whys and wherefores.

I've researched this going back to the 60s (entertainers as in singers/actors/others) and there was/is indeed a Satanic agenda. It's just much more up in your face now.

I think you can get a lot of info right here on GLP and online. Keep connecting those dots for the answer.

Re: Illuminati Satanism in music goes way beyond what I first thought...
There's a lot of merit to what you're saying, but you're also touching on a lot of other subjects that bears mentioning.

First, you're sort of equating Luciferian with Satanic. It's not the same, and while I don't know what mystery bands you're referring to, the one-eye, triangles, etc is not Satanic imagery. It is Freemasonry, which is rooted in Hermeticism and Gnosticism. AKA Luciferianism.

Secondly, you have to take a step back and realize that music, as a whole, as a concept, as a thing is far greater and far older and more influential than any one person, band, etc. No one on Earth 'invented' music, no one discovered it. It was there before we came around and will be here after we're gone. Music is not good or bad, but it can be used for honorable and dishonorable ends.

It is an ancient thing, with metaphysical roots and unknown ends. Some posit it is more like a language, a highly evolved method of communication. The applications of music that humans have thusfar harnessed are pretty low-tech, if you think about it. On the evolutionary scale of music, we're still banging sticks on shells.

Either way, your exploration is intriguing, but there's so much more to cover.
