Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45863185 If we were not ALREADY DOOMED enough with all this WAR doom..we have THIS bubbling and squeeking away in the background.. I LOVE THE DOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!! The 'phony war' is the distraction from THIS!^^^^^ This ^^^ is what I have been thinking of...but wouldn't it be cheaper to route all the money we may spend for war to fix Fukushima ourselves? Something just does not add up...there is something else amiss here...just not seeing it...yet. “My religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave.” -Stonewall Jackson "The Bible that is falling apart usually belongs to a person who is not." - Charles Spurgeon “I apprehend no danger to our country from a foreign foe . . . Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter. From the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence, I must confess that I do apprehend some danger. I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men, and become the instruments of their own undoing. Make them intelligent, and they will be vigilant; give them the means of detecting the wrong, and they will apply the remedy.” “If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but if we and our posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity.” -Daniel Webster |

So I have been testing food from the Pacific for the past couple of years - in particular, tuna. I haven't seen a rise in radioactivity yet. After Fuku I did notice a slight radioactive rise in cheese - about 40% from a background of 13 CPM to a cheese measurement of 19. Five months later it measured 14 CPM. A GLP thread today on measuring tuna: Thread: Today's Canned Tuna Is NOT Radioactive |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45863185 If we were not ALREADY DOOMED enough with all this WAR doom..we have THIS bubbling and squeeking away in the background.. I LOVE THE DOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!! War isn't really doom, it's small beans and b.s., too bad the middle easterners get screwed, but this fuku business is the real deal man, it is slow, creepy, invasive and incredibly resilient and long-lived, it's going to be a long time before nature can right itself and it's already done, finished. Just dance the dance anyway and maybe smoke some weed. I useta do drugs, I still do, but I useta too, but now its for a new reason. Because the world is not worth paying attention to and when I spend a few minutes (turns to hours) writing this stuff for all of you, the sad thing is no one really reads it, so I'm turning it off and for the most part I will be posting short, irreverent and sometimes downright lewd and offensive comments b/c it's not going to be recognised either way, just like an individuals effort in the bigger picture. Just be a good guy, live an uninvasive life and do the right thing... and take psychedelics. That is ALL. Groovy man, I am with ya! We are all dead men walking anyway, FFS! |

If you hold large sums of physical precious metals you should plan on fighting to the death to keep it because you won't have much luck selling it. In a time frame of days millionaires could be the new middle class if it's even an option. |

That's what the cancer clinics tell us, anyway. Quoting: calx A capital idea! If they wait a while longer, they can turn the ENTIRE ISLAND OF JAPAN into a cancer radiotherapy clinic for the world. |
