well we are narrowing it down
dimensional jumping is going forward or backwards in our material dimension but not to stay, to experience from the present via field memory (re experiencing the past in our present) or utilizing our universes precognition the same way, experiencing events awaiting to happen within our present (altered state)
if we go physically into another dimension our material dimension is instant by instant the same instant everywhere within itself, as seen by field of gravity instant/distance effect all things material, thus no matter how long you stay out of our material dimension within non material dimensions there is no return to or influence within our material dimension other than the same instant you do so and that is the same instant throughout the dimension
there is no before or after instant thus there is only the same past field memory or same precognition experience to experience from within the material dimension

what does happen is because by default all velocities outside of our material dimension is faster than light you experience infinitely faster all things than you do in our material dimension
thus like a dream, you may leave our material dimension and return 5 light speed minutes later but you may have experienced a month or a year of living while you were gone
