Does anyone here use the Law of Attraction?
The Secret / Law of Attraction / Teachings of Abraham

I've been aware my whole life that our thoughts and beliefs manifest our reality, that we've lived before and we'll live again.. I'm excited that people are talking about it and trying to get into it, I feel less alone / crazy!

Yes, never failed to deliver however much energy I was willing to put into it.. But it's hard to stay focused for long durations, hense you will practice it less than you think (especially after getting what you desired, manifest)

I can honestly say it changed my life forever, in a very good way, nothing bad I can say about it except its damn hard to raise the signal to noise ratio of everyday life to keep it flowing unless you have a VERY specific short/medium term goal in mind and are working the plan and mantra into a fervor.

If you want faster results, do as the man said and read the book like 7 times in a row, this is essential to programming your subconscious mind so it gets the message, long after you personally have.

In the back half of the book, it refers to an energy rite that should be performed to get your power flowing.. Not required for results, but very fuckng handy if your against the clock... Read the book, you will discover what I'm talking about.

Once you have made it work for you a few times, you will not look at life quite the same way again, just knowing you have that skill and power on demand, but you usually get busy with life and enjoying whatever "result" you were working toward to keep up the art.. But I'm only speaking for myself.

Don't have to pay for the book, and get it from the original source for free, avoid "the secret", it's an ill equipped money grabbing ripoff of the original work which is far better and is available in both unabridged PDF, audiobook mp3 and paperback. All can be found on the web, YouTube, torrent, etc.

If you want a hight quality mp3 copy for your drive to work, or workout.. Than buy the iTunes audiobook.. It is missing nothing.

Seriously, if you can stay focused.. Doors will open, good things will happen and there is nothing to be afraid of as you are just pumping your love and strong positive intent into the "matrix".. Never had a negative experience with it. Incidentally, I have been kicking around the idea of trying an experiment of using both the law, meditatiom and canibis and see what the results will be as all three have been very rewarding experiences in their own separate way.

Not true, it obeys Newtonian physics.. You can't get something for nothing (free lunch) you can get what you put into it, only transmuted into whatever physical or situational result you focused on.. Maintaining razor sharp focus for long duration is harder than you think, but than again.. You never tried to actually perform it.. So you make my point for me.

And there ARE people who "have unlimited money, spaceships flying around and who the fuck knows what else".. They are just far more determined and able to hold focus than I.

Sorry, was there a specific book you meant? I know there are a few by Abraham, I am reading Ask and It is Given right now and I listened to the audio recordings of the original Law of Attraction. I am mostly listening to the clips on youtube because they're brief and interesting.

I've seen things manifest my whole life, good and bad. It's always pleased me, but I was upset when I mentioned it to people and they'd say I was crazy and making things up. I have so many examples, I wouldn't know where to start. My favourite has been, well actually this happened twice, where I asked for a job that related to my skills and paid well. It was exactly like I asked, no doubt about it!

Just recently I decided to move, and I made a list of all the things I'd like my new place to have: near quick transportation to my job, rent I can afford, if I lived with someone I'd like my own bathroom, near a good grocery store, near somewhere I can go to exercise etc.

I'm offered by my best friend to move in with her shortly after! And her place has all those exact things, perfectly like I needed them to be!

I think it's because I literally can believe anything is possible :D no matter how crazy it is, I always think there must be a way!

Yes works very well :)

I started reading The Science of Getting Rich a few years ago.
Just read Unhypnosis, currently I am reading The Secret.

I have managed to get jobs where there are no vacancies, been put on the wrong rates of pay, massive pay rises.
A brand new car as I never had one before, my most recent car was a specific limited edition model in a specific colour.
I got the last one in the whole of Europe.

To start with I had some less positive experiences, due to negative thinking. But I survived and learned a lot.

My best advise is to be careful what you wish for.

Wow cool! That just sound so rad, I can't wait for more for myself too :)

Yes! Be careful! I absolutely freaked out when I "jokingly" made a list of attributes in a man I'd like to meet, thinking such a person doesn't exist and wouldn't be interested in me anyway. I met him and I can't see a future with him, but it blew my mind that it happened at all.

I also decided I wanted to "cure" myself of some ailments I've had my whole life, and I focused really hard on the fact that I had them rather than feeling well. They got so much worse than they'd ever been, but in that experience was a great lesson of not "labeling" myself as someone who has a sickness or is a victim, and most of the ailments did completely go away, some I'm still dealing with but I can tell they're getting better.

I'm finally going to stop drinking for good... I'll now only drink for evil.

Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days lived.

Nice! Thanks for posting, I was thinking about posting one but I wasn't sure which one would explain it best.
