Don't think so, anyway you'd have a more distinctive outline if it was the moon as seen on this viewer many times!

That video isn't an accurate depiction of recorded video.

1). No movement is present upon the sun's surface in the video hinting at the picture being a still shot

2). the way the video jumps would indicate that the still shot was being zoomed in with shaking hands possible, because to think about it, if your video cam jumped during a shot of an object at that distance it would have made a major jump and not a tiny one as noticed.

I don't think the video is real.

Yes...and it appears to be large...I have seen this twice before...Can someone find the past dates when this occurred?

It's just the tiny moon casting a shadow in the many times larger Sun

No matter if the Sun itself is the source of the light in the Solar System

During the eclipse, which was centered around 0700 UT, Earth covered about half of the sun. Because these eclipses typically last only a few minutes, there is still plenty of time remaining in the day for SDO to monitor activity on the sun. The observatory won't miss much even with Earth occasionally getting in the way. The ongoing eclipse season will end on Sept. 26th. Between now and then, stay tuned for some rare blackouts."

SDO circles the Earth in a geosynchronous orbit, meaning it makes one complete path around our planet every 24 hours. This is a special orbit, because it means to someone on Earth the satellite stays in one spot in the sky, making communication with it much easier.

But it means that twice a year the orbits of SDO and Earth line up, and the Earth irritatingly gets in the way of SDO’s view of the Sun, partially blocking it. These times are called “eclipse seasons”, and we’re in the middle of one of them now. On Mar. 2, the Earth got between SDO and the Sun…and not only that, a few hours later the Moon did as well!
