It would grant him absolute emergency power to do whatever he wanted with the US Armed Forces. In the Roman Empire, Dictators were voted in by the Senate. Nothing new under the sun. But most Americans know jack shit about history.

The truth is a little frightening, huh. How can Congress give Obama such power? If they do, then it's democratic, right? So then he's not a dictator, right?
