The moment he preached mercy and love and grace, the pharisees whipped out their swords to commence the worlds longest bible fight. They hate mercy and grace and thats why families turn against eachother and religions are always fighting. Its a battle for the "Right" to be "Right" and he knew it would happen. See..look what sort of swords begin to swing when you try to mention mercy love and grace and that God is NOT going to be burning everyone alive forever. Thread: Christian LOVE at its finets..brought to you by the HELL screamers. TAHTS the sword he saw coming. Its why he had to confront the pharisees of the day. You would understand if you read some of those threads above. He didnt bring the sword himself..it was always here laying dormant because grace and mercy had not yet been introduced. But he came preaching mercy and grace and the religious ones didnt like it at ALL....because HIS sword was truth. Thus out came the swords and to this day the darkness still battles the light. He said he was the way the truth and the life..and the pharisees had him nailed for it. Nothing has changed. You mention mercy or compassion arounf them and they fume and spit. A few centuries ago they used to torture people themselves..justifying such black evil simply on the basis that they taight that God was far worse and would butn everyone in hell in tortures that would have even made those inquisitors wince. Its a good thing God is not a prick like they make him out to be. Now be free. You are loved. God is not out to "Get" you. |
