My TI was in line right before me when he glanced back at the rest of his airmen and stated, in reference to the food being served, "Just like mama used to make,,, except mama didn't shit in it!" To say the least we all cracked up,,, and from that point forward we realized that he was a pretty good guy. Well they try to toughen you up. Make you grow thick skin. If your TI had been a bad guy he'd be soft to you.  When I first went to orientation, the orientation officer was extremely rough with some. Each and everyone he picked on didn't make it through the first selection. He had an eye for drug users and people that could not take criticism. |
