why has the concept of hell changed over time?
at first people said hell was a place people went and as punishment they were bored, because there was nothing there and that was the punishment, boredom

then people said hell was a place people went and as punishment were forced to push a boulder up a hill all the time

finally people said hell was a lake of fire where you are tortured

so why do people believe in hell?
why wasnt hell always a lake of fire?

i cant sleep and was thinking of this
