Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. ~H. L. Mencken~ We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light. ~Plato~ When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic. ~Dresden James~ |

Yes, opera singers like Pavarotti can do things with their voices that Frank couldn't do. But Frank was still the greatest ever. the coolest of the cool. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 694452 He was a piece of Satan worshiping human garbage. |

First 5 in order from numero uno was, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, John Lennon. Frankie boy didn't appear in the top 100. How could this be possible? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46284846 I actually prefer Dean Martin. As a kid I recall my parents listening to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, only now (40+ years on) do I appreciate their style. They sure could sing!! Unlike a lot of today's artists. |

Anonymous coward User ID: 1408355 Australia 09/06/2013 02:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yep...Elvis Presley. Elvis' version of My Way destroys Frank Sinatra's version. Frank always sounds flat and tuneless to me when he sings. Not Elvis. Elvis reigns supreme compared to Frank Sinatra in tone, pitch, and musical vocal quality. Quoting: CuriousSeeker Yes! But Frank was singing when Elvis was a baby. Different era. When Elvis appeared adults thought he was demon inspired. |
