This is a routine practice and has been for years. SC is home to the Savannah River National Lab and a related contractor facility. SRNL is involved with recycling the Pu from weapons into MOX (mixed oxide) fuel for power reactors. It also is the only facility in the country as far as I know that processes the tritium in weapons. It also processes used heavy water from heavy water reactors, separating out the T2O from the D2O. This is also something they have been doing for the past 30 years to my knowledge.

I seriously doubt that this is some sort of clandestine sort of thing despite the facts that shipments of fissile material have heavy security and shipment dates, times and routes are classified, No idea why routine shipments going on for years are signs of an evil conspiracy.

Oh I think they're further along than just sophomoric attempts. Those would normally be single channel. What we have today is an outright assault on the psyche over all channels, from all sides, on multiple agendas. Able Danger is nearing its full operational capacity.
