I'm not very superstitious but I've encountered some paranormal things before.
I would keep it and read a few random pages.

If its still in that bench later during the day, I MIGHT take it... read a little, and do some meditation. I'll then bring it back to the place I left it. Not sure tough

I make a point to never dismiss what I think is a sign

Signs are special gifts..when the Divine world takes the time and bother to reach through into this mess and touch you gently showing you the way..

also small white..is maybe a baby bible..that one gives as a gift for a baby at a Christening/Baptism..or Communion too.

It's so bizarre for me to have actually found this--I am very confused about many aspects of religion and what god is and represents. I was born into a conservative roman catholic family but confused by my aunt who converted into a jehovah witness. Her religion beliefs some of which I agree with has really confused me.

What I really think about god and who he is... I see him as the universe, I see him as that because there is no beginning or end. It's a beautiful thing which is a host of billions of stars, planets, galaxies but most importantly LIVES like yours and mines.

When I pray I'm confused as to what to call him.. Jehovah or universe and it's really painful and foggy for me.

I personally dont believe the bible was written by god or inspired by him..etc but I do want to read it and see what I can reflect on.

Please, I would love to hear your comments or reflections on this.and what this bible might be all about.

One last thing there is a bookmark on the bible on the book of Romans between chapters 7 and 8

This is just my opinión..I was reflecting today ..the world man has created..as in concrete jungle..burocrazy.-..bills..having to achieve strive etc....with some entertainment thrown in ..is in my view absolutely bizarre

to think that we are expected to live like this seems to me ridiculous

but nature..Gods Creation..the Life God created for us..is so so fulfilling in my view

I could go on

we are prisoners of our needs and wants..basically of our ego that has traded our freedom in nature for captivity in concrete..and all this for things and paper..its insane in my view

so when the Divine World manifests through unusual beautiful circumstances its so wonderful..because it so reassuring..we are not alone

What does this mean?

Once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you become a NEW CREATION Spiritually. The old ways are dead and the new ways are now being led by the Holy Spirit.

Because you choose to believe in Christ you are now righteousness in God's eyes. The Grace of God is your covering. Sin will not condemn you anymore.

Faith is the means of remaining in His grace

A numerological significator of the number 8 is new creation as well.

I looked right past OP's mention of what book the mark was between and merely focused on the fact it was found on the cusp between 7 and 8.

7 = Mercury, Libra, The Chariot. 8 = Saturn, Scorpio, Strength.

The mark could be a time significator of the sign as something new coming into OP's life around the third week of October.

The cusp between chapters 7 and 8 of Paul's letter to the Romans just so happens to be the point from which Paul moves from speaking of man's bindings to the laws of man into the difference between living for the desires of the flesh and that of spirit.

OP, you've obviously gotten past the point of viewing one doctrine over another as an absolute to hold above all else as law or truth. Now it's a matter of figuring out how to follow what it is that is in your spiritual nature to do.

I very much doubt that would be to turn back to traditional teachings and confine your growth, but that doesn't mean those same teachings cannot be more aptly looked at for better understanding from a new found perspective.

The Lord Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. The Holy Spirit will reveal all truth and bring to mind appropriate Scriptures.

You're supposed to read it while sitting on that bench, silly.

naw... i wouldnt think twice about taking a bar of gold that was placed there on a park bench...

It would get cold and lonely... so i would have to take it home and keep it dry and warm... It would be my duty... as a person... to ensure that the gold bar would not be alone

I was strolling through a park one evening coming from a small gather of friends at a restaurant and I saw only beautiful flowers and trees all through the path. They were the most unusual looking trees with just a pure glow to each one. I saw a bench facing the lake that was in this park, little ducks, turtles, and some blue jays were just walking near the water, almost in a line. As I approached the bench I found this book it had "The Universe" printed upon the cover. It was a leather type of book, with some Arial font. I turned it over and there was nothing printed on the back. As I opened the cover a paragraph explaining the contents of this book and that it would provide to me everything I needed to know or do to live a spiritually, successful, comfortable, relaxing, energy driven fulfilling life. The answers to each question I had mulling in my head since the beginning.

The stuff written in the pages was so enlightening I no longer have to think of the basic questions we are all asking ourselves. I feel the pages speak to me everyday of my life since I read it. It took me near 5 years to read and was keeping it with my 24/7. It never left my side the entire 5 years I kept it. I remember every word of the book and love every section dearly. I never have to live my life by judgement and never have to fear anything. The world and universe is the most beautiful thing we will ever see or be a part of. When you find something so great you are destined to pass it on to others, I left the book on a table in a restaurant once I felt the message was clear and told to me. I never have to worry about the book but only my next adventurous experience. Live life with love, wisdom, optimistic thinking, and always read someones body language and facial movements when talking to them and you can read their exact emotions and common thoughts.
