[ link to www.nydailynews.com] "Egypt was ruled by black pharaohs for nearly 100 years, but their role as leaders of the ancient civilization has been largely kept in the dark because of racism, according to this month's National Geographic magazine." I've heard of Nubians of course, and I am aware of the DNA test on Tut which shows he had European lineage. According to the article Tut's grandmother may have been Nubian. What say you? Quoting: geminilion Nah, they are mostly ignored because they were just a blip on the historical time-line. Out of a 5,000 year history black Pharaohs ruled for about 75 years and added nothing to the rich history of Egypt. One might add that Tut was a minor king as well and is only famous for the treasures found in his tomb, certainly not for anything that he added to the historical record. Look at Egyptians today, they look very much like they did back then. Was there some mixing of the races? Probably, but Tut was not black African...and neither was his grandmother.
