Is it me or was that F'n UN meeting in Russia with the theme of dress from Marie Antoinette mean anything to anybody else? This is insane. They are trying to incite a revolution in this country so the can round us up. Stay home. I am truly afraid and had to go to doctor for ativan. I wouldn't put my dog through this kind of stress. The Zimmerman trial didn't bring on a civil war like they were hoping.

Too few Americans are educated on the situation. What's worse, is that most Americans can't see past their selfish existence. Or don't even care to.
This country is inhabited by self righteous people whom are as ignorant as they come, yet still manage to have the worst kind of superiority complex.
The American people simply don't care. At all. When I tell you that your average american feels more distraught over their DVR not recording a TV show, than they do about people being slaughtered overseas, including their own, I'm not joking. I wish I were.
This is a sick twisted country and we 110% deserve the worst case scenario.

I think they have already snuck something in on all. I think there is a limited number, like 1/3 that can be done away with at once. HOWEVER, I thinkthe Constitution supports that the Patriot Acts they voted in made all their other deals invalid.

And protests are not very effective in this country. For one thing you have to get a permit and do you really think they will allow this?

Distance is another factor. It's a 15 hour drive for me to get to D.C. and at least 5 days for people in California. One way. Many don't have the funds to fly.

And don't forget that there are also many still supporting their beloved Messiah Obama!

You do not need a permit to do totally nothing for a day. You would not even have to travel to Washington, everyone can do it in their hometown. Doing nothing for a day is a strong signal, you will see.

I think there has actually been some small amount of street protests particularly by Syrian nationalists but the media doesn't cover it.

Saw something about it on the news but didn't even make the film at 11.

Not sure I follow this "do nothing" idea. Do you mean let people die in hospitals from no care or firemen let houses burn or whatever? That would hurt us and not the government.

As for government employees not working for a day, remember most of them are already on "sequestration" with up to 3 weeks forced layoff. They'd love that.

This ^^^^ . Most of the time, there's no traffic to block here. By the time I could get to DC, (a nightmare which would play hell with my budget) it would probably be too late to get a whole lot of protesting done.

Are you saying WW3 results from Syria based on political analysis or your 'visions'?

I've had a bad feeling about this build up to war. It's ridiculous and wrong on so many levels.

Many of the superficial ways it's wrong are not even being discussed in the media here. For example: let's assume the war is justified, why would a country (USA) announce details of it's war intentions to the world? That's just stupid. This is merely a 'level 0' aspect to how wrong it all is. There are so many other layers to this onion I think only divine intervention can change things.

Asking Americans to do something about this war is like asking an elementary school child to get a job to help out with the family finances. Not fair and even if they did it wouldn't make a real difference.

You know things are bad here when people want to see a military coup. Unfortunately, Obama has even that covered. He has been purging the military of those against him for years. America is not coming back from this until it burns to the ground. Like a phoenix I think you will see it rise from the ashes but we are so many years off from that.....:-( No one here will wake up until the comfort of their daily lives have been disrupted. Maybe 5-10% "awake" people and that just isn't enough to turn things around. I hope the world understands though that there are still many good Americans who care....we are just powerless to really affect change at this point. It's too early in the game.
