Thanks Luis!

Keynesian tards are recently barking louder for stimulus that is 3 times larger than the original. Statist have no problem with deficit spending $7 to produce $1 GDP growth.
Texas has yet to learn submission to any oppression, come from what source it may.

WaPo: Autumn Looks 'Scary' for US Workers, Economy

American households may want to prepare for some chilling moments this fall, and not because of the weather.

For American workers and the U.S. economy, "autumn could be scary," The Washington Post states.

In fact, polls show more than half of U.S. workers believe the United States is still in a recession. And it warns that the economy is facing a bundle of headwinds this fall that could prove particularly tough for poor and middle class Americans.

Unemployment Falls for Wrong Reason as More Quit Job Hunt

The drop in the unemployment rate in August to a 4½-year low was hardly cause for celebration. The rate fell because more people stopped looking for work.

More than 300,000 people stopped working or looking for a job. Their exodus shrank the so-called labor force participation rate — the percentage of adult Americans with a job or seeking one — to 63.2 percent. It's the lowest participation rate since August 1978.

Once people without a job stop looking for one, the government no longer counts them as unemployed. That's why the unemployment rate dropped to 7.3 percent in August from 7.4 percent in July even though 115,000 fewer people said they had jobs.

Number of Americans Who Gave Up Job Hunt Soars to 2.66 Million

JOB HUNTS ARE GETTING PUT OFF

The number of jobless Americans who gave up the hunt for work after searching a month earlier climbed to 2.66 million in August, the third straight monthly increase.

RISING INTEREST RATES COULD BE HITTING CONSTRUCTION JOBS

Employment in construction has only risen in one month of the last five, and August was not one of them. Employment in the industry was flat last month, and this could stoke concerns that a sharp increase in mortgage rates since May could be dealing a blow to the nation's recovering but still depressed housing market.

WORKERS ARE PUTTING IN MORE HOURS

Despite a still-elevated jobless rate, slow-but-steady gains in employment and rising demand have raised the nation's overall work effort — almost to where it was before the recession began in December 2007.

The forty hour full time work week has taken on a new evaluation. You are considered full time employed if you work for one company 30 hours per week now and for those who are fully employed if you fail to work 7 days per week
as many hours as the employer demands you get fired.

Remind us how making weapons props up an economy.

How does charging 30.000.00 dollars per JDAM or over a million dollars per Tomahawk missile prop up an economy if it all gets applied to the publics debt and is then destroyed?

Just so it's clear, an economy is propped up when it creates and sells a product for a profit outside of the nations border to a buyer who pays cost plus profit.

It's a fraud to suggest a war such as America wages is profitable for anyone but bankers and a few insiders who help themselves to the public trough.

For instance, the old M2 Browning MG timing and headspace gauge, a simple few pieces of metal weighing a few ounces that should cost a few pennies to produce but are sold to you, the taxpayer for over two hundred dollars each.

That's where your money goes and you, the general public are further indebted for every one.
You can't sell yourself an overpriced widget to yourself and make any real money, it just doesn't work that way.
