Well, sorry, but ISON just isn't impressive yet. It's only a few arcseconds in size. Nothing wrong with the telescope or camera though; the exact same setup very easily and casually took this picture from the exact same site, even later into twilight.

The point isn't who gets the picture first, it's that Astro enjoys doing Astro-photography and has invested in his hobby to be able to do so. He simply posted a picture he was able to capture using his equipment and his knowledge of the craft. This isn't a pissing contest.

OK So the RED Nibiru looking DOT you have circled there!!

Teasing ok not Nibiru! But that red dot thingy!!!

Really and that is from this very morning!!!!!

Damn you guys do realize these 4 passing comets fit a pattern of Really ancient stories that have been told on a global scale!

The mane stream part that every body knows is first Blue then red! When actually its first White then green then blue then red!

And if Ison is actually red to the naked eye view! Then the pattern is complete and we have 7 years and all hell breaks loose. Then the whole cycle starts over again 3600 years of harmony!

Don't Sweat it Astro, these people probably think that images through a 8" telescope should produce color images as well. And an arcsecond is likely lost on them as well.
