a strong connection has been found between autoimmune reactions caused by either a chronic disease/illness, or an infection while pregnant - both cause excessive antibodies to be created/released in a pregnant womans blood - these in turn attack the fetus' nervous system/brain and can cause them to be born with a range of neurological disorders. My other child has ADHD.
