A distraction is going on ... but from WHAT??

The distraction is not so much a "distraction" as it is an accumulation of many, many things that cannot survive in the old ways of being, living, governing ourselves, etc. etc. etc. Something makes me feel as if my whole life has been leading up to this event and that most of us chose to be born at this exact moment for the GREAT WHATEVER occurs. I began to feel this when I was a young child and I have images that remain with me from those days as a very young child when I first began having dreams about the the future: some of the images I have are of a crescent moon and star, a red moon, two moons, two suns, days of darkness, a ruler from the Middle East, and many more things. I am no seer nor do I claim to have any form of truth except what I've experienced for over fifty years in dreams. Others have had similar dreams and now they are all coming together at once. So, I have no answers but I have a deep-seated belief that something momentous is about to occur and I, who am prone to panic attacks and anxiety, am unnaturally calm. It's as if I I'm about to face something I've known since birth but can't recall. I know this all sounds like babble and, hopefully, it is the babble of a 61 year old woman with too much time to read and think. But, the bottom line is this: I think there's some kind of enormous dimensional shift that is about to occur and it will be a test, a trial, a time of finding out why we are really here. That's it folks. My take on this big mess we are in. We can only wait and see what will happen, but it will happen soon. As the poet said "the center will no longer hold." We are in uncharted territory and we must find our strength and wisdom and love. Now, I will shut up and probably regret writing these heartfelt feelings. Maybe it's just me that feels this way...but I think not. I think others feel a huge change is coming and we must be ready.

It is not just you. Interesting perspective on wise women. I am an "elder" woman as well and see myself as part of the collective wisdom that will eventually transform this world into one of justice and peace.

I was thinking similar thoughts earlier - I saw something about Duck Dynasty and I had a fleeting thought about distractions, because 11.8 million watched their season opening show.
And now Obama is saying that if Congress says no, he will gladly look at other options for Syria. What????

I may very well be wrong here ... but the longer this Syria debacle goes on and on and gets more intertwined with all of the major players in the world ... I have to wonder. Are we being distracted from something else happening or getting ready to happen somewhere else in the world?

Could be Syria is the true hot topic ... but any ideas what else could be going on in the world that we are trying to be distracted from???
