British warship HMS Brilliant torpedoed WHALES during Falklands War after mistaking them for enemy submarines

Mistaking the whales for a attacking "wolf pack" of submarines the British navy torpedoed 2 of them and killed a 3rd with an attack helicopter.Personally I didn`t know that Argentina even had submarines to worry about at the time, but apparently British radar couldn`t tell them apart.
