So to surmise the sentiments of myself and some others who have posted in this thread:

Threatening people to Christ does not work anymore. No matter how well intentioned or worded your original statement was it always seems to cross the line into insults and threars in the name of Christ.

If you are a Christian, and you believe this is a blasphemous way for a person and especially another christian to behave,
Then i suggest you start soldiering for Christ with these people. Ignoring them makes your position extremely weak, Who wants to be involved with a religion that doesn't defend itself from interlopers and blasphemers?

Not many. Thats who. That is why Christianity is losing ground, because you do not police your own religion and instead let these people run the name of Jesus through the mud when you do not stand up to them.
