Who else felt the extremely eerie silence/stillness/voidness outside a few days ago?
I was outside walking the dog here on the east coast a couple days ago...must have been around 8 pm and dark...and I experienced something I never felt before...

there was absolutely no sounds outside..no wind...no traffic...nothing at all. I mean it was quieter outside than in my house!

This wasnt just a silence but a total stillness in the time/space around me..reminded me of that movie " The Langoliers" where a plane landed in a strangely quiet alternate reality....matches wouldnt burn..soda wouldnt fizz..footsteps wouldnt echo...

Did I imagine this or did anyone else feel this "void" outside few days ago??

That's because nothing exists, nothing is real, we rely on our 5 senses for everything when really there Is nothing there, and we only see 1% of the light spectrum our brain makes up the rest, I recommend reading the holographic universe, it's a real eye opener

You know Kabbalah also talks about the 99% unseen reality that we live in and one 1% is visible....is this a similar concept? Im sure this all ties into advanced quantum mechanics and field theories....

not this week, but for a while now we have been noticing this: what we call the outdoors being a "painting". No leaves moving, very quiet, no rustling, nothing. As though the world was suddenly a painting instead of what it normally is.

No explanation from me, but yes, we have noticed this for a while.

we are on the Delmarva Peninsula.

Yes. Maryland. Felt creepy to me. Felt it during the day too even with things happening. It creeped me out and I shrugged it off.

What was it? I still feel it... Like I can't foregt the feel of it.

Yes and am really interested in quantum mechanics but find it a bit heavy going, sometimes I when I am in bed with the curtains shut I sometimes think there is nothing outside those windows, nothing at all.
And have you heard the saying "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

Well OP, I really got that thump of recognition when you said in your original post that it was quieter outside your house than in. . . .

that is exactly what this is like. My husband will call me outdoors if he notices it . . .with a "take a look at this" kind of expression . .

He feels the world is waiting.

and the poster who mentioned thunder, well THAT is a thing too - the weird rolling thunder at times, the strobing lightning without ANY thunder for hours on other nights -
strange times we live in.

and yes, this is what that age old saying must be about.
It must be.

Yes, I am in Mid Michigan and the atmosphere a couple days ago was very still and haunting. I agree over the 9 months or so I have noticed this.

I envy you so bad. This is not my case. It seems that either a shitload of dogs, or the neighbours' children decide it's a fucking good idea to bark/cry when I'm going to sleep. It must have been a thousand times that I fantasised about suddenly appearing in the top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere, so it'd be silent enough for me to sleep.

I had it happen a couple of month ago. It was early in the morning and I went outside to see if my son's schoolbus was coming. I noticed it as soon as I stepped outside. We live near an interstate highway and it it always busy...but it was more then just no noice from the traffic. It was like there was no sound, Yes like I was standing in a bubble and there was nothing outside of it.

I had this happen to me a long time ago in the woods, I thought for a while it was a cougar stalking me, or a friend had convinced me that that's the feelings you get when that's happening, but one key point is that I had a hard time finding my way around an area I knew well, I realize now that's because I couldn't hear the creek, which always guides me back to the trail leading to the parking lot. David Paulides talks about this with his Missing 411 interviews, and there's a story out there about a man who saw 3 shadow creatures while experiencing this, and they tried to draw him to them.

damn interestate freeways are incredibly noisy, car traffic on streets incredibly noisy.

God's Judgment is upon America. Much tribulation is coming.

It is good to prepare NOW for what is to come.

The Book of Revelation shows us what must soon come to pass, but it also includes instructions for what to do.

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

We are commanded to come out of Babylon (Rev 18:4), fear God and give Him the Glory (Rev 14:7), refuse to take the mark of the beast (Rev 14:9). These scriptures are instructions.

Investing in the 5 G's - God, guts, groceries, guns and gold is the wise choice. Joseph stocked up in his time. He prepared for the famine.

Prepare NOW

I've noticed that a lot over the last 10-11 years or so. Completely still in the universe and eerily quiet, not even a small creature making a peep.
