Brightens my outlook for a zombie apocalypse!

I would try to ride it out as long as possible at home. I would try and fortify the few vulnerable windows(most of the windows are pretty high up). all the doors are basically pretty secure already. If the outbreak has not reached(or was not too severe yet) in my area, I would attemt to go to the store which is really close to where I live. I would buy alot of water and canned goods and batteries(or loot it if there is chaos going on)

Move into the ol' family shelter...

Read books from our library, wear out some board games and decks of cards.....

crank the genny and sit in the hot tub, drink some beer and listen to the HAM radio.

If it's isolated cases, well then I wait.

If it's all out herds of walkers and no LE or Military left, I occupy a hardened secure location. Assuming one could learn to open the flood gates, a Dam Might be a good choice.

Steal a big boat. Load it up with looted food and park it far enough offshore that any swimmers or approaching boats could be easily spotted and shot up.

But it would depend on the outbreak. If it were localized I would move and set up camp. Build a "treehouse" and stick it out wildman style with my buckets of rice/beans/water I have stored.

If it were widespread I would load my supplies onto a boat. A large sail boat of sorts, and make my home on the sea.

I would eat the Zombies.

Lots of food walking around and falling on the ground.

Just cook it a high temp to get the virus defeated, then enjoy!

I would try to jack a cruise ship, loaded with food, and sail to a zombie free island.

GET A TOUR BUS. Mount 50cals on top and cow catcher in front. Nothing will stop you.

It would greatly depend on whatever means had caused said zombie apocalypse..

That , and more importantly HOW it is spread.... and the contagion of it.
If even coming in contact with body fluids of the "infected" would get you dead..

If the above was KNOWN , then it would be much much easier to survive .

If it is unknown or highly contagious, then I'd say one's chances of survivability are slim to none ..

Have you not seen them, drudging through life with no awareness of their surroundings, mindlessly watching reality tv. Consuming the latest celebrity news. Its here my friend.

I survive by staying away from them, the virus is transmitted via banal conversation.

I'd release the zoo animals to eat the zombies.

I have 3 castles/forts within a couple of miles of my home, so would occupy one of those for the moment, and when things calm down a little I'd borrow one of the fleet replenishment vessels, and seek out a zombie free place.. probably head somewhere like the Ascension isles or St Helena, where I am sure we'd be welcomed with open arms with such a ship laden with goodies.. if not then I'd start my own place.

I thought it was the invasion of the zpod.. or zombie pod body snatchers.. you see zpods everywhere... scary times to live in.

You haven't supplied enough information for me to set a plan into motion.

Example: They have over-taken most of the larger metropolitan areas and are now moving into the 'B' cities?

Where are they, exactly.

What are the numbers like?

What are other individuals and/or groups doing?

Is the military involved in combat situations with said zombies?

Is it the standard head-shot or are there other ways to kill them?

Do they move slow and clumsily like the typical movie zombies, or are they all hopped up on bath salts?

Are they actual zombies or simply just a bunch of obama supporting Trayvons playing the knock-out game?

These things matter.

i would get bit, i think being a zombie would be an ok life, no worries, just wander around eating things you find, and you cant die unless you take a head shot, your practically immortal.

I would go to a shopping mall.

Don't forget the beer.

First I would make a duct tape suit like the walking dead. Next I would find a motorcycle and head to the florida keys. Then I would live on some of these small islands and barricade bridges and exterminate what is left inside my safe zone. Water surrounding you is your friend in the zombie apocalypse. Besides, if life gets shitty at leas you'll be somewhere pretty.

My first choice would be the Castle next to Harveys Brewery.

I think in such a situation, it would be vitally important to ensure the supply of beer is protected from all known threats..
