Not sure, but the first time when you visit the official white house website, (or at least the link above for the live stream) it opens a pop up that says 9PM tonight addressing the nation so they definitely want people to know about it.

Also curious that it's going to be at 9PM a time in which most americans will be home, not at work which.

I'm very curious as to where this is going, what their intentions are, and how this is all gonna go down.

All he is going to do is LIE LIE LIE!!!! That is all he and Kerry know how to do!!! So I have purposely gone through ever cable box in the house just to be sure NOT A SINGLE ONE is on any of the channels that is playing the address tonight. I have no interest in hearing more lies.

See what I find so peculiar is they're pitching this thing as a humanitarian issue against people who have no respect for life, yet they are telegraphing ahead of time to the alleged enemy that they are going to strike giving them an opportunity to react. Obviously goes against the strategies of war. Then there was the sudden "I'm gonna take it to congress, even though I could act executively if I desire" act. So is he just trying to win over the american people? Is there gonna be a false flag on american soil? More chems used in syria by the alleged enemy?

As stated in a previous post I came here looking for a thread and couldn't find one so I figured for the people like me that were looking for the time of the address it would be helpful to have a current thread.

Also for that matter there should be a thread pinned concerning this matter.

They're called "talking heads" for a reason, they are just doing what they are told. Commanded from the top of the "pyramid."

It's good to stay current with the lies as it gives us insight into the agenda at hand as well as foresight into the future.

I'm sure not everyone visiting this forum is privy to this information. Especially the specific time this is going to happen, which is why there should be a pinned thread concerning the matter.

I think they are going to "kick the can down the road" buy more time to make (or not) the moves they're considering. Possible stipulation regarding the UN?

Something about a war powers act. I f he strikes preemptively without congressional approval he has a limited time for engagement, but if he gets congr. approval he can be at war unlimited.....something like that. I wasn't educated in the USA but picked up the info just recently. I am sure someone here can verify/elaborate.

Yes but sense when have they cared about the constitution or any other humanitarian laws? It certainly didn't stop them in Lybia, etc. And it sitll wouldn't make sense to warn the enemy and give them time to "move & shake"

He's been told its time to stop fucking around with all this deliberation and postponements, and so he will be addressing the nation that he thinks its right that he gives the orders to launch a strike on Assad's chemical weapons facilities as soon as the military generals feel the time is right(aka probably within the next 24-48 hrs).

Fair enough, I don't suspect your going to miss out on anything to urgent or breaking anyways, I believe they're just trying to win the american people over, buy more time for themselves

That's what I'm saying...if he gets congressional approval he can be at war for an unlimited amount of time. Whereas if he acted without there would be a time limit *I think* I don't want to spread misinformation about that. As far as the humanitarian bent, its just bullshit politics...perhaps he is giving them time to plan a return attack so they can have their all out war. Paint them as the enemy, then push them to retaliate, they have their war, congress approved . if congress approved then the American public approved, since they supposedly represent us.
