And focus on all the wonderful things in this life, yes I know many will roll their eyes but it's true. And that is how I keep from 'losing it'. Tomorrow maybe go for a hike and notice every little detail mother nature has blessed us with, talk and connect to people on the street, think about all we have to be grateful for. I think if most Americans could travel and work overseas, they would realize how fortunate we are in this country. Best to you Salt! :heartcloud88: |

Quoting: Salt i would like this thread to be a resource to be utilized in any hour of need. Please share the goods if ya got 'em... I have a true testimony of The Lord Jesus Christ. I had a near death experience in 2009. I actually died for short periods of time and was revived many times according to the medical records. I would like you all to know that I escaped my body. I was birthed a spiritual body inside myself and popped out of my physical body. I was taken by two Angels to the "Kingdom of God" and met Jesus and all his wonderful, loving people there. I want you all to know that you are all so loved, so special and never alone. We are all so connected to each other and to our Creator through Jesus Christ. He loves each and everyone of us so much. We are truly adored and looked after. Even, if we do not feel that way at times. I was shown the truth and where we are going. It is such a spectacular place. We are all ONE. So connected but still ourselves. I learned unconditional love there and compassion and understanding. This life is so temporary. What we truly are is so much more than what most of you know. We are spiritual beings and children of the Creator. Never forget that as such, we have the power to create. If this world is getting you down, turn away from it and seek love and light. You can create a new life for yourself. We live in this world as physical beings but we can travel as spiritual beings to many other wonderful places. Learn to meditate. Remember that you are loved and adored. You are not alone. I love you all very, very much. Our Father loves us. Our Lord Jesus and all his wonderful people love us. Angels love us and watch over each and everyone of us. There is much hope. You are royal children. Don't fall into despair and if you do, count it as a blessing- for Jesus comes to the broken hearted. Search within yourself. I am always here for anyone who needs to talk and I do not judge. I love you all my brothers and sisters. With Great Love- Goddess |

Take a few steps back to regain perspective. Realise it has no ultimate significance, but that it can seem so when you hold it so close it blots out the universe. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44047287 Put your attention elsewhere, on something life-affirming. How about it is a path that you know has a bad ending so avoiding certain things is a key to a happy life, rather than a long miserable one where you cannot forgive yourself. Step back is fine as long as it is the correct move. Running from a sniper only means you will die tired. |

I have lost everything... and in it I have gained everything. The mystery of Christ... his passion and glory are something I scarcely comprehend but I cling to it and cry for it because it is the only light shining in a black and dying world. At first I feared greatly... then I was angry... Numb... Now I am finally losing full grip of this world and letting it go... None of this stuff matters... Obama, Syria, Policies... Weapons... Threats... Aliens... Illuminati... Liberals... None of it matters... God is the fulcrum on which not only our entire existential perception rests, but indeed existence as a whole regardless of our feeble perspective. It is in sin in which we all teeter... The struggle is immense. And I believe when you finally make the decision inwardly to combat evil and seek to spread the light in dark places, the struggle gets exponentially more challenging. Never impossible... It just seems that way sometimes. |
