You're not happy about it truly, are you? I feel like you sometimes. The purpose in life is not material possessions,entertainment or pleasure but to love, which I am failing at and why I feel like you. I love someone but am afraid to let myself take a risk to put myself out there, for fear of rejection and insecurity. I think I am betraying myself, I am such a coward.
