Obama did not respond to Putin. Somebody from the White House made the comment to save face on behalf of Obama. Obama is on the horn with Putin right now assuring Putin that he was not involved with that statement. "You know how it is Vlad, just let it slide and I will straighten it out when this whole Benghazi/NSA/IRS/disarming thing blows over."
