This is not special for Virgnia Beach, since norfolk naval yards are next door, however plenty of flights of F18s and several naval frigates have been out going all week. Nothing special for the area, however who knows for sure if they are tasked to the area. just a thought.

Jules, I might see where you're confused. The op stated that this supposed craft is low hovering (therefore supposed to have propulsion, yadda). All the weather I'm talking about is low level (when was the last time you got rained on from a high cloud cover?). Weather is avoiding tha area. If you're zoomed in too tight & mistakin cumulo's moving in a jet stream as weather- zoom out to global view. The animation certainly shows weather moving around that area- not through it.

I'll also bring up for the third time: the area has remained cool. Even during high sun. That close to the equator.
