Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46690676 [link to www.youtube.com] "I'm not talking about a disaster, I'm talking about a love triangle...." Again, no doom. I'm not hoping for doom, but what does reference to a love triangle prove? And if no doom than what? A book? I have no idea what he's talking about, but he specifically says he is NOT talking about a disaster. All these folks who are running around yelling that the sky is falling are going to feel pretty silly tomorrow when it turns out to be nothing. Whatever it is, people are picking and choosing the parts of his videos they "like." Silly. i LOVE your choice of words!!! Obviously your ignorence towards the 'sky falling' has alowed you to iver look the many new posts informing you that the sky IS falling... I hear the East coast usa have the best view!! Well, uh, I'm purty sure my ignorant ass lives on the east coast, and 'MY SKY' is holding up just fine. |

Sonnet seems to be about the singularity, yes? |

Two lines were created each day. This is the final image, unless there is more on tomorrows video. [link to 77days.tenmilesout.net] Looks like Rick Astley... "And how can a man die better than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his Gods..." ~ Horatius "Because he told the truth, and once you've heard the truth, everything else is just cheap whiskey..." It was like when people were saying at 12:01 a.m. on 12/21/12 that the Mayans were wrong and dumb. Well I don't think the Mayans were wrong...I think we either didn't account for year 0 or they wanted to give us a year to get ready. Also, they could have forgotten to carry the 1. The Mayans were far from dumb... You forgot to mention the possibility that it was complete and utter bullshit, which all evidence seems to point more heavily towards. |

I take some of that back as it sounded a lot more harsh than I had intended. While it's plainly obvious that nothing has come of what a lot would have thought to be a major shift in "whatever", the Mayan calendar(s) were indeed impressive and should never be disregarded from a historic preservation perspective! |

Agreed. Didn't take it harshly. Especially now that we are karma buddies! Looking forward to seeing what this whole PB business is all about. Kinda like looking forward to the Breaking Bad series finale next Sunday; It is completely irrelevant to anything other than my own curiosity and entertainment... but I still want to know what happens, damnit! :-) |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 45828037 United States 09/24/2013 02:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I guess the Youtube channel owner should have been doing some sort of experiment on collective consciousness of 21st century people. He or she might be writing a thesis for a degree or psycology journal, and using Youtube and the other on-line forums as research fields? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1758011 The title should go like "On-line Collective Consciousness Study when faced with uncertainty and indifinite fear of 21st Century,"??!! That doesn't jive with me. I don't think the audience digesting this material by asking questions of "Why do this?" and "What is this?" is indicative of an uncertain and fearful group of people. Maybe the thesis is on "Gauging on-line collective consciousness through vague and engaging viral techniques" That would be a bit more believable I'd say. |
