Anyone in here play Fantasy Football - Vick or Newton as starter?

Because sometimes I wonder if those "fantasy experts" give you bad advice just so they can win.

I have Cam Newton AND Michael Vick on my team -

Who do I start?

Ha, my Mother loves sports. So we're both on a team this year, she's co-owner. She wins ALOT of money betting - and she's never done fantasy. This is my first year also.

We're the "PalmaSola Playmakers" since they live in the area of the city known as "Palma Sola" - it's the "rich" area so to speak, I guess, she married nicely.

Yes, my first draft pick I went 4th and got Marshawn Lynch, he sucks with 6 points last week. I don't really know the players or watch the games, but went by rankings, I play it based on stats and the rankings seem off more and more each year. I still enjoy it and would love to win.

and also - who do you use? CBS, Yahoo, ESPN -- I went with NFL.com since they retain the rights so I can get all sorts of video and audio.

yeah, it's Projecting that Newton will get 4 more points thou, since he's playing the Bills.

and yet Vick is against SD Chargers, at home.

Newton thou.... he's still good to have, I'm glad I have a roster with 3 good QBs.

As much as I hate to say it, I'd start Vick today. Philly may not win, but I think it's a good scenario for Vick to have some good numbers. It could be a shootout with Rivers, but I doubt it.

I'd normally go with Newton, but Buffalo can be a tough place to play, as evidenced last week with NE's less than easy win there.

Eagles offense is gonna make him a top 5 Fantasy QB again.

Cam is good, and will probably put up good numbers...but Vick has more upside.

Youre still using Yahoo I assume. I've been playing for 8 years now and it took me about 2 years to learn to NOT GO BY THE PROJECTIONS.

Yes it is nice seeing that you are projected to win. I know. But when you make the mistake of following the projections exactly you lose games that one who put a little more thought into would win. You do want to win right?

As for QB's I ended up with Rodgers, Luck, and Stafford. Picked Stafford up off waivers when someone dropped him for EJ Manuel

I actually have Rodgers or Luck up on the trading block trying to pick up a decent receiver. I picked up Lynch in round one, and by deep in round 2 there wasn't much left in top receivers.

I've got Vick on my bench in both my leagues, Kaepernick and Luck are my starters. I'm hoping this Chip Kelly offense really takes off these next couple weeks so I can trade Vick into a stud RB or WR

Ugh - I'm about to toss a Coin between Vick and Newton.

So far - it seems 50/50 on VICK/NEWTON via the "experts" yet players wise it seems people are saying go with Vick over Cam Newton.

Cam is talented but doesn't have much talent outside of Steve Smith around him. Plus Eagles v Chargers seems like it has more of a shootout potential .

Cam also lacks TWTW
